The 1kVA Contactless Water Monitor is the control unit for the Water Management System. With no need to collect cash, payment can be made via debit or credit card, as well as Apple, Android, or Samsung Pay. Programmable Smart Payment Cards can also be issued if desired to provide prepaid or free-vend sessions.
The number of litres for a single payment can be programmed from 1 litre to 127 litres in 1 litre increments as standard or 10 litres to 1,270 litres in 10 litre increments. The digital display counts down the number of litres used until zero when the solenoid valve (not included) closes shutting off the water supply
Water can be temporarily stopped and started by pressing a red pushbutton on the control unit. An auto timeout can be programmed, if required, so that the system is reset if no activity for one minute.
The Contactless Water Monitor is the payment and control unit, the Water Interface Kit is sold separately and contains the solenoid valve, water meter and communication module necessary to provide a complete system. The complete system is available for purchase as the "Water Management System".
The contactless card reader requires either a mobile phone signal or an ethernet connection. The payment system is managed by Nayax Ltd, a multinational provider of financial services. A one off charge of £40 is charged by Nayax to cover administration costs of setting up the payment system – referred to as “onboarding”. There is a monthly fee of £10.00 per month payable direct to Nayax Ltd. This covers SIM, data usage, updates, support and 24/7 access to the Nayax DCS portal for reports, machine management and use of Nayax APP's for consumer promotions and engagements. There is also a fee of 2.95% per transaction. All transaction payments are paid directly into the operator's bank account by Nayax Ltd on a monthly basis, less all fees.
