06/04/2017 - UPDATE:
The new £1 coin has now been released by the Royal Mint. The old £1 coin will remain as legal tender until 15th October 2017.
Although the old coin will be progressively removed from circulation the Royal Mint do not expect that the new coin will become prevalent until early summer. Consequently we advise that our machines are not converted too early but that conversion kits are purchased in good time and meters converted when the new coin is more in use than the old coin.
Conversion kits are now shipping. Phone Pauline in sales on 01258 489075 to place your order.
The Royal Mint will be introducing a new £1.00 coin into circulation in March 2017. There will be a six month period when the existing £1.00 and the new £1.00 coin will co-circulate.
The existing £1.00 coin will begin to be withdrawn from circulation when the new coin is introduced in March 2017.
From September 2017 the existing £1.00 will no longer have legal tender status.
That is they will not be accepted by banks, shops, etc.

If the serial number of your LT3100 starts with LA or the serial number is before LT-052190 you will need to order the Pre 2011 conversion kit. This has a part number of 964-001-072-000 and a cost of £10.00 (Per conversion, Plus carriage and VAT).
If the serial number of your LT3100 is greater than LT-052190 you will need to order the post 2011 conversion kit. This has a part number of 964-001-072-001 and a cost of £5.00 (Per conversion, Plus carriage and VAT).

If the serial number of your ET30 is greater than ET-0314115 you will need to order the post 2011 conversion kit. This has a part number of 964-001-072-001 and a cost of £5.00 (Per conversion, Plus carriage and VAT).
All conversion kits will come with full instructions.

Wyvern Standard Meters
The Wyvern Standard meter will require the coin acceptor and safety plate to be changed. This has a part number of 964-001-073-000 and a cost of £36.00 (Per conversion, Plus carriage and VAT).
All conversion kits will come with full instructions.
Once this conversion has been done it will only accept the new £1
Wyvern 2000
There is no conversion kit needed for this coin meter, just program a vacant coin slot. The new £1 coin can be 'learnt' in the vacant coin slot and the meter will then accept both the old and new £1 coins.
Wyvern 2000 meters can accept both the old and the new £1
